BA Speaker rejects adjournment motion against border’s violation

QUETTA, September 26 (Online): Speaker Balochistan assembly, Jan Muhammad Jamali rejected adjournment motion presented by opposition against border’s violation by Afghan forces, media reported.

The session of provincial assembly held here on Thursday chaired by Speaker Jan Muhammad Jamali.

According to the reports, Jamali remarked that the matter of border’ violation comes under jurisdiction of federal government, adding foreign office and federal government have a vigilant eye on the matter, he added.

Speaker did not approve the motion for further proceedings that created rumpus inside the house.

Members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) and Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PMAP) exchanged harsh words with each other over the rejection of motion.

Member provincial assembly, Mufti Gulab suggested of constructing more Army check posts on Pak-Afghan border.

It is pertinent to mention here that Afghan forces had violated the border few days back near Zhob area and opened indiscriminate firing that killed many innocents.

The assembly adopted condemnation resolution against Peshawar church blasts.
