QUETTA: In wake of the Karachi bus tragedy, the security has been put on high alert in the provincial metropolis.
Additional deployment of the law enforcers including the police, Frontier Corps (FC) and Balochistan Constabulary (BC) has been made at the important government buildings and installations in the metropolis.
The routine patrolling of the law enforcers has also been increased in different parts of the city, the official sources informed.
The initiatives have been taken in order to prevent any untoward incident particularly after the tragic terrorism incident took place in a community bus of Ismaili sect in Safora Goth area of Karachi.
The law enforcers are fully alert and ready to counter any untoward incident, the sources maintained.
Meanwhile, the security is also being stepped up today (Friday) particularly outside the religious places including the mosques and Imambargahs as well as the religious places of the minorities.
