NA Deputy Speaker visits Parliament Lodges

Islamabad; September 17 (Online): Deputy Speaker, National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi has directed CDA to complete the construction work of additional family suites for the Parliamentarians within stipulated time.
He issued these instructions during his visit to the construction site of additional family suites for Parliamentarians at Parliament Lodges today.
The Deputy Speaker said that due to shortage of accommodations the Parliamentarians are facing a lot of hardship. He directed the CDA and construction firm that construction work must be completed within stipulated time and lapse in this regard would not be tolerated.
Earlier the Member (Engineering), CDA briefed the Deputy Speaker about the progress on pace of work of under construction work. He also informed the Deputy Speaker that construction work of 500 servant quarters for drivers and staff of Parliamentarians has been completed and construction firm has handed over the same to CDA.
The Deputy Speaker also visited Parliament Lodges to inspect the cleanliness and maintenance work at Parliament Lodges. He expressed his grave concern over the lack of cleanliness and directed the CDA to take appropriate measures for proper cleanliness at Parliament Lodges. He also asked Superintendent Police (Security), Islamabad to ensure foolproof security at Parliament Lodges.
The Member (Engineering), CDA, DG (Works), CDA, Superintendent Police (Security), Islamabad, senior officers of National Assembly and CDA and representatives of construction firm were present on the occasion.
