Dense foggy conditions to prevail in Punjab, Peshawar, Sukkur

ISLAMABAD, Dec 18 (APP): Dense foggy conditions would prevail
over most parts of Punjab, Peshawar and Sukkur divisions at night
and morning hours during the next 24 hours, according to the
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
A shallow westerly trough was prevailing over northern parts
of the country and likely to move east to southeastward during next
24 hours.
Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the
country during the next 24 hours.
However, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and light
snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places of Malakand,
Hazara, Islamabad and Rawalpindi divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-
Baltistan during evening or night time.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24
hours were Kalat, Parachinar -06 C, Quetta -05 C, Skardu -04 C,
Garidupatta -02 C, Rawalakot and Kalam -01 C.
The minimum temperatures recorded in the other cities were
Islamabad 05 C, Lahore 08 C, Karachi 17 C, Peshawar 06 C, Quetta -05
C, Murree 02 C, Muzaffarabad 04 C, Gilgit 02 C, Faisalabad 10 C,
Multan 10 C and Hyderabad 14 C.
