Dry weather likely in most parts of country

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department
(PMD) on Friday forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of the
country during the next 24 hours.
However, partly cloudy condition and light rain is expected at
isolated places of Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan during
the next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air was
prevailing in the country whereas a shallow westerly trough was
also affecting extreme northern parts of the country.
The weather would remain dry in most parts of Punjab, Sindh,
Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the next 24
hours.
The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours was Parachinar
02 mm.
The maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours
were Islamabad 29 C, Lahore 31 C, Karachi 38 C, Peshawar 31 C,
Quetta 25 C, Skardu 21 C, Murree 20 C, Muzzafarabad 30 C, Gilgit 25
C, Faisalabad 32 C, Multan 32 C and Hyderabad 36 C.
