Taleem Foundation delegation meets Speaker

QUETTA Feb 19, (PPI): Dr. Zafar Iqbal Chairman Taaleem Foundation called on the speaker Balochistan Assembly Ms Rahila Durrani in her chamber here Monday.
He was accompanied by Sarwar Javed former Senior MBR and Humayun Sabir.
The delegation briefed the speaker about the development activities of Taaleem Foundation in Balochistan where the Foundation is operating 8 Grammar Schools in the tribal districts including Kohlu, Zhob, Loralai, Kila Saifullah, Pishin, Mastung and Dera Bugti.
The delegation mentioned that the Foundation has also established a private virtual campus of the Virtual University of Pakistan at Sui, in addition to a high quality School of Skills and Vocational & Technical Institute in the tribal district of Dera Bugti.
The speaker Ms Raheela Durrani appreciated the efforts of Taaleem Foundation with respect to quality of schooling being offered by the organisation. It was disclosed in the meeting that the organisation was considering setting up a University of Skills in Balochistan.
She also emphasized the need for developing young human resource of Balochistan and conveyed her full support to such like innovative and creative interventions in the province.
She thanked the delegation for visiting her for seeking her support for the entrepreneurial growth of the Balochistani youth. Dr Zafar Qadir is retired bureaucrat who worked in Balochistan for 16 years in civil service. He worked as DC, Commissioner and provincial secretary in the province. He is a known philanthropist who established a high quality grammar school in every district that he served. He looks after this organisation with passion and commitment. The speaker appreciated his efforts in shaping the education face of Balochistan and setting new standards of service delivery.
