Quddus Bizenjo meets with Chinese delegation

QUETTA Feb 15 (PPI): Balochistan was emerging as lucrative region for investment where there are massive opportunities for investment. Government was taking concrete measures for providing better facilities and security to investors. Benefitting solar energy we can overcome energy problem in the province. Balochistan interests would be kept at priority in any investment project in any case.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo while speaking with Chinese delegation which called on him under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer of Dynavolt Hisel Company Michael H Wang here Thursday.
Chinese delegation apprised Chief Minsiter of investment in solar energy and other public sectors about investment and expressed desire for investment in generating electricity from solar energy in different parts of Balochistan particularly Awaran, establishing microgrid station and investment in transmission line sector.
Chief Minister said that Balochistan has got an opportunity for development in the face of CPEC and we would fully benefit from it. He said due to CPEC there was speedy investment and Baochistna is very appropriate region for investment where besides natural minerals there are massive reservers ofoil andgas. These can be exploited to meet country’s energy needs. Govenrment was striving to provide better facilities and security to investors. He said we are committed to accord priority to Baiochistan interestin any investment project. Resources of B aohcistna are people’s custody and their best utilistion would be ensured at eveyr cost.
He said Balochistan Board of Investment was formed but it was not activated which can promote investment in the province. But he added government in office was making it active and it would have positive results soon.
Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said we have old friendship with China and government would provide possible assistance to all investors including Chinese investors in Balochistan. He said owing to ongoing development projects and promotion of investment in Balochistan. Ongoing development projects and promotionof investment would end poverty in the province soon and there will beextraordinary improvement in the life of people.
He said we should move forward about education and techniques so that shortage of skilled and technical people is overcome to run projects in future.
