QUETTA Feb 13 (PPI): Minorities community living Balochistan were playing important role for the progress and prosperity of the province. Minorities are viewed with great and respect in our society and they enjoy equal rights. Government would take all possible measures for their development and resolving their problems they were facing.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo while speaking with delegations of Hindu Panchayat Quetta and Bhag here Tuesday.
Provincial ministers Sarfraz Bugti, Tahir Mahmood Khan and former MPA Basant Lal Gulshan were also present at the meeting.
Delegations apprised Chief Minister of problems confronting Hindu Panchayat and requested for their resolution.
Chief Minister said all the nations living in Balochistan have always relation of love and respect with each other. Minorities here have also participated in progress and prosperity of the province.
He said that minorities have important role in our tribal society. But they were also harassed in the past owing to deteriorated law and order situation and several Hindu families were forced to migrate from Balochistan. He said during past five years law and order have improved greatly and Hindu community and others migrated from here were returning. He said Hindus always demonstrated positive attitude and took part in development of the province which every Balochistani views with regard.
Chief Minister said that no injustice would be allowed to all minorities living in Balochistan. They would be provided their due share in development schemes besides ensuring reservation of special quota for them in all the departments.
Delegations thanked Chief Minister for assuring resolving their problems and assured the government of every cooperation form Hindu Panchayat.
