QUETTA May 22 (PPI): Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Mahmood Achakzai were opposing merger of FATA with Khyber Pashtoonkhwa at the instigation of Establishment. Prime Minister of Pakistan has lost confidence of party by changing stance on every occasion. Had we followed vision of Bacha Khan in the past there had been no difficulties for Pashtoons today.
These views were expressed by President Awami national Party Balochistan Asghar Achakzai at a Press conference here Monday.
At the Press conference Mustafa Achakzai, Nasrullah Khan and people form other political parties resigned and joined ANP.
ANP Parliamentary leader Zamrak Achakzai, Provincial Secretary General Nizamuddin Kakar and others were also present.
He said Mustafa Achakzai and others by joining ANP have proved that they were doing politics rising above personal interests based on ideologies because we do not have power at present. But people were joining us in large numbers.
He said we have struggled for real parity under Red Flag and it was being done even today but the way we have been kept under difficulties since 2-13 elections and leaders are kept away from their leaders we strongly condemn it. We want to make it clear on those forces thinking f Bacha Khan was living yesterday and it was living today also. There is no other thinking among the people.
Asghar Khan said that we were not allowed to hold public meeting on May 23 but Tehreek Insaf was provided full opportunity with full security which spoiled Balochistan traditions and criticized leaders of different political parties unjust.
He said stance adopted by party on Kala Bagh Dam and FATA was of immediate reaction of people but people of FATA’s reaction Establishment was hurdle in merge of FATA with Khyber Pashtoonkhwa. If is the really Establishment’s hurdle then Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Mahmood Achakzai were opposing FAT at the behest of Establishment.
