Pak-Afghan border remains close third day

CHAMAN May 7 (PPI): Tension still exists along Pak-Afghan border and friendship gate remained close third day Sunday.
Pak Army jawans are fully alerted along the border and ready to reply befittingly. Heavy weapons have also been deployed along front line.
According to details tension prevailed along Pak-Afghan border third day today following Afghan forces aggression on Friday. To avert any aggression of enemy Pak Army jawans are fully alerted along the border while heavy weapons have also been brought to front line. Security along the border is extremely tight and Pak Army helicopters are continually monitoring the border.
Friendship Gate remained close third day today. All commercial activities including NATO supply, Afghan Transit Trade and on foot movement is also suspended.
People migration from the area was underway. A camp has been established five Km form border where affectees have been provided temporary shelter and they are provided with all possible facilities. Four kilometer area of the border has been declared as No Go area. Several villages have been vacated.
