QUETTA May 3 (PPI): Law and order situation in Balochistan has improved and ulterior motives of negative elements have been foiled. Now our youth were going to Universities and educational institutions and not on mountains. We are fully committed to secure and brighten future of our children and would not allow anyone to mislead them anymore.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while speaking with Vice chancellor women University Professor Dr Rukhsana Jabeen and women lecturers of Girls Polytechnic College Quetta in separate meetings here Wednesday.
Chief Minister said there is no dearth of talent among our youth. We have to work with sincerity to harmonise younger generation with modern day demands and equip them with education and modern technical knowledge. Government was taking solid measures in this regard. More technical institutes were being setup in different districts of Balochistan and existing institutes were being made further functional so that maximum number of local people could get employment in CPEC projects.
He said future of Balochistan is bright and we have to make the province most prosperous province of the country by dint of our hard work and honesty. Government is striving for promotion of modern education particularly technical education from day one and positive outcome are now visible.
Vice Chancellor Women University Rukhsana Jabeen apprised chief Minister of conduction of underpass at University and problems contorting to Women University campuses Noshki and Khuzdar.
Chief Minister assured that under pass project would soon be undertaken while problems confronting Women University Khuzdar Campus would be taken up with Higher Education Commission. He said hostels would be built for girl students at university setup in other districts.
He also assured women lecturers of Polytechnic College that steps would be taken for resolving their problems including time scale on priority basis.
