12 delegation of Special Committee for CPEC project visits Gwadar port
QUETTA, May 2 (APP): Senator Taj Haider said that China-Pak Economic
Corridor (CPEC) project would boost economic activities and developments of the world including Pakistan and China.
He said that not only Pakistan and China but other countries of world could take benefits from CPEC project.
These views were expressed by Senate Special Committee (SSC) for CPEC
project of 12 delegations of Senators led by Senator Taj Haider while visiting Gwadar Emergency Medical Care Center which is being constructed by China Red-cross Foundation in Gwadar port on Tuesday.
Senate Special Committee of CPEC project comprised Senator Muhammad Kabir Muhammad Shai, Senator Dr. Jehanzaib Jamaledini and other senators.
On the occasion, Senate Special Committee for CPEC was briefed about importance of project by Gwadar Port Authority Chairman Dostain Jamaldini.
“CPEC was billions dollars of project in which construction roads, energy power increasing, Railway tracks, economic and other schemesâ€, Dostain said in briefing.
He said that first phase energy power sectors and National Highway, second phase industrials schemes would be established.
Special Committee Chairman said that we were struggling to develop each part of the country.
That’s way we came for visiting of Gwadar port to monitor different projects of development in the areaâ€Â, Senator Taj Haider added.
He said that CPEC project would provide jobs to local citizens of Gwadar port.
