Sadiq Umrani concerned over growing incidents of target killings

TAMBOO Feb 2 (PPI): Former President PPP Balochistan and member Central Executive Committee Muhammad Sadiq Umrani expressing grave concern over lawlessness, terrorism and target killing of police officers and officials has said it is being felt that people of Nasirabad have been left at the mercy of terrorists and target killers. When Police officers and officials are not safe, how a common man can be safe. Government must take most strict measures for establishing.
He told PPI Thursday that owing to continued incidents of target killings there prevails atmosphere of fear and disappointment among the people who were feeling them completely insecure.
Umrani said PPP strongly condemns all sorts of terrorism and lawlessness. Security to life and property of people in our area and peace is most dear to us. It is duty of provincial government to take immediate notice of such incidents and accused involved there should be arrested. Practical measures should be taken for establishing exemplary peace in Nasirabad rising above all prejudices.
It is added herethat incidnets of target killings have increased immensely in Nasirabad.During two months six police men including SHO have bene killed in Dera Murad Jamali.
Lately a police man was shot dead here last anight. His relatives blocked national highway by placing dead body alogn the highway. Traffic between Sindh and Balochistan remaiend blocked for several hours creasing difficulties to the travellign public.
