Protesters block national highway at Kan Mehterzai

QUETTA Jan 27 (PPI): Quetta-Zhob National highway remained blocked due to snowfall and rains creating shortage of food stuff.
Angry protestors blocked Quetta-Zhob highway at Kan Mehterzai some 50 Km northeast of Quetta today. They said national highways remained blocked ten days after snowfall and rains. Government and administration did not clean the roads nor provided relief to the people. Tehsildar Muslim Bagh tortured UC Chairman. Moreover behaviour of Tehsildar Muslim Bagh is also inappropriate. Unless he was transferred they would not open the road for traffic.
Administration restored to torture on District Chairman Killa Saifullah and protestors.
Residents of Muslim Bagh and Kan Mehterzai blocked Quetta-Zhob highway at Kan Mehterzai today.
This angered protestors. They said unless Tehsidlar was transferred from the area they would not open the highway. Due to their protest long queues of vehicles were seen on both sides of the highway. It caused difficulties for the people due to cold weather.
