TAMBOO Jan 18 (PPI): Baloch people cannot be befooled in the name of development of Gwadar. People in the area are deprived of drinking water. PPP provided basic facilities to the people in Balochistan and thousands of unemployed people were provided jobs under Aghaz Huqooq Package. In view of its area Balochistan was provided funds and just share in the NFC award.
These views were expressed by Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah and former President PPP Balochistan Muhammad Sadiq Umrani while speaking at Umrani House Dera Murad Jamali.
They said those claiming of breakfast at Gwadar and lunch at Quetta is nothing but putting salt on the wounds of people. They said capitalist strata of society did nothing for agriculture but pushing it to the brink of destruction. Resources were being looted in the name of Gwadar. CPEC project is result of efforts of Asif Zardari while rulers were putting it in their credit.
Those harping development of Gwadar have failed to provide drinking water to the people of Gwadar. Do they plan to kill foreign investors by thirst.
They said if just free and fair elections are held in Balochistan and other provinces PPP would succeed with heavy mandate. It would assume rein of country once again and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would be next Prime Minister of Pakistan.
