President AJK arrives Quetta

QUETTA Jan 17 (PPI): President Azad Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan arrived here Tuesday on three day visit.

He was accorded warm welcome by provincial ministers and MPAs. Representatives of Kashmiris living in Balochistan were also resent on the occasion.

President AJK drove to Governor House from Quetta Airport. He was welcomed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai.

At their meeting the two leaders exchanged views on Kashmir issue, latest situation in Indian held Kashmir, atrocities of Indian occupation forces against Kashmiris, Pakistan’s overall political situation, Baluchistan’s development and progress. Possible impacts of China Pakistan Economic Corridor on Baluchistan’s prosperity and other matters of mutual interest.

Governor Achakzai said that for political and economic changes taking place at the national and international levels we have to work with untiring efforts to benefit form them.

He said CPEC would benefit Balochistan the most. It would play key role in for Gwadar Deep Sea Port and Balochistan and country’s development. Balochistan would be hub of trade and economic activities. Completion of CPEC one belt one road would end world economic decline. New markets for exports would be found and lakhs of people would get employment avenues. This mega project would be guarantee of security, peace and stability of entire region.

Governor said resolution of problems including Kashmir issue is very much necessary for sustainable peace in the region. He said Pakistan is committed to continue moral and diplomatic support for Kashmiri brethren and has raised voice for resolution of Kashmir issue at every forum.
