CM-Seminar ‘Economic development through new Resham highway via Khuzdar’

KHUZDAR Jan 5 (PPI): China Pak Economic Corridor is game changer for whole region. Elements making wrong propaganda about the project were not only enmity of this project but enemies of people of Balochistan also. Recently at Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting in Beijing China 12 important projects of Balochistan were approved for including in CPEC. After that propaganda that there is nothing for Balochistan and that CPEC is for one province should be end.
This was stated by Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri while addressing ‘Economic development through new Resham highway via Khuzdar’ here Thursday.
Seminar was organized by Devote Balochistan, University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar in collaboration with Southern Command and Government of Balochistan.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javaid Bajwa was chief guest at the seminar.
Speaker Balochistan Assembly Ms Rahila Durrani, federal and provincial ministers, members of assembly, Commander Southern Command Lt General Aamer Riaz, Chief Secretary Saifullah Chatha, IG Police Ahsan Mahbub, IG FC Major General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, professors, intellectuals, anchor persons of new channels, journalists, tribal elders and large number of students both girls and boys attended.
Chief Minster said that highways occupy life line of economic development of any country which not only reduce distances but meet people with each other. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is keenly interested in development of Balochistan has also announced building some other important highways in the province bringing revolutionary change sin these areas.
He said Khuzdar would emerge as second big city of Balochistan with implementation of CPEC projects and hub of trade and industrial activities. Establishing industrial zones at Khuzdar and Bostan have been approved and surely our people would benefit form extraordinary trade and industrial development.
He said Khuzdar is important cultural, economic and agriculture centre of this area and long struggles and sacrifices of our elders and forefathers are included for the development of this area who never compromised on their land and conscience. People know anti development elements tried to deteriorate peace of the area but people foiled all designs of these handful elements.
He said in achieving atmosphere of peace in the area and foiling enemy’s conspiracies blood of scores of martyrs is included including his son, brother, nephew and their colleagues. He said there sacrifices would not let go waste and journey of peace and development we have started would be completed at all costs.
Chief Minister lauded role of Organisers, Pak Army, Devote and Khuzdar Engineering University for organizing the seminar. He said government of Balochistan is fully aware of consultation under democratic principles and we would continue our consultations between different strata of society on all important issues.
