China Pakistan Economic Corridor entire region would become prosperous and economic decline would end

QUETTA Jan 5 (PPI): Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said with completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor entire region would become prosperous and economic decline would end. New markets would be found for exports. This Corridor would be expanded upto Russia with the result entire southern and central Asia would become hub of economic and trade activities.
This he said while speaking with Iranian Consul General based at Quetta Muhammad Rafiee here Thursday.
At their meeting the two exchanged views on changes taking place in the region, Pak-Iran mutual relations, law and order situation and further improving economic, trade and cultural relation between Iran and Pakistan were discussed.
Governor said that Pakistan and Iran are tow neighbourly brother countries and their mutual cooperation combined economic future can be built. Two countries have not only close friendly relations but also have cooperation in different sectors.
He said Gwadar and Chah Bahar are not only sister ports but can be useful for progress and prosperity in the region for each other.
He said there are vast opportunities of investment in Balochistan. With opening of land and aerial routes between neighbourly countries trade and economy get promotion creating positive impacts on entire region. Pakistan and Iran are also linked through road and rail. Therefore their economic and trade ties can be b further expanded and stabilized.
Governor said present government has adopted solid measures for increase border trade and desires to improve it further.
Iranian Consul General said Iran is fully committed to further stabilize economic and trade ties with Pakistan. He said economic ties occupy importance in progress and prosperity of nation and country. He described economic and trade ties increase between Pakistan and Iran as good sign.
