Special 5-day polio immunization campaign begins

QUETTA: A special five day polio immunisation campaign got underway in Quetta children under five years age shall be administered immunization drops.
According to Coordinator of Emergency Operation Centre Syed Faisal Ahmed following the confirmation of positive environmental samples in Quetta, a special immunization campaign has been decided which will cover 39 Union Counsels of the city and will stretch upon 5 days, adding that as many as 1345 teams will be part of the immunization camp and 105 fixed sites and 175 transit point along with mobile teams will ensure immunization.
Syed Faisal Ahmed said that foolproof security arrangements will be in place during the campaign. Syed Faisal also called upon the parents, Ulema and people belonging to all file and ranks of the society to extend their fullest cooperation to make the immunisation campaign a success.
