DERA MURAD JAMALI Dec 27 (PPI): Pakistan People’s Party is party of martyrs. It has faced all the dictators bravely and its leaders strengthened democracy and democratic institutions by sacrificing their lives.
These views were expressed by former President PPP Balochistan and former provincial minister Muhammad Sadiq Umrani prior to his departure for Garhi Khuda Bakhsh here Tuesday.
Umrani said owing to failed policies of government in office there has been increase in poverty and unemployment. PPP supported N League for survival of democracy but it was busy in kingship and not democracy. He said PPP has been making sacrifices for democracy, supremacy of law and people’s prosperity and this is the reason lakhs of people visit Garhi Khuda Bakhsh every year to pay homage to their leaders and this would continue forever.
