QUETTA Dec 22 (PPI): Commissioner Quetta division Amjad Ali Khan has said steps were being taken for effective security of all churches and places of worships on Dec 24 and 25 on occasion of Christmas.
He said X-Mas gives us lesson of peace and distributing prosperity. Minorities have played positive role in building and development of Quetta. Police and Levies personnel would be deployed for security of Churches.
He said Christmas is day of popularizing message of peace and love. Sacrifices of Christian community in development of Quetta are worth praise.
He said administration has evolved comprehensive security plan for providing security to all the churches while Police, Levies jawans and administration people as well as Christian community volunteers would also assist in security arrangements.
He said special arrangements would be made for cleanliness and lighting on occasion of Christmas. Instructions have been issued to district administration and metropolitan corporation officials.
