Bureaucracy stressed to focus on redressal of common man problems

PESHAWAR, Sep 27 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary
Muhammad Shehzad Arbab Friday asked the civil bureaucracy to focus
their attention on solution of problems confronting by common man.
He was talking to participants of Inland Study Tour of 4th MCMC Kashmir
Institute of Management in Peshawar, who called on him here at his office. Chief Instructor Kashmir Institute of Management Dr. Sultan Hanif Orakzai, Additional Chief Secretary Khalid Pervez and other high ranking officers were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the meeting the Chief Secretary said that they needed to take
all decisions purely on the basis of merit as it would reform the prevailing disorder in the country.
The people, he said were wiser than the bureaucrats therefore they
should serve their people with honesty and dedication.
Regarding the steps being taken by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government,
the Chief Secretary said that the law of the right of information was a matter of real revolution as according to it transparency would come into the affairs of the government.
Chief Secretary said that it was the vision of PTI Chairman Imran Khan
to appoint IGP from Punjab on the basis of merit. He said that no one in the province would be able to influence the new IGP.
