Two alleged target killers detained for 90 days

: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh on Tuesday informed an Anti-Terrorism Court about 90-day preventive detention of two suspects, allegedly involved in target killing, for questioning.
The Rangers along with its counsel produced the suspects, Dil Murad and Muhammad Ali alias Panda before administrative judge of ATC amid tight security.
The paramilitary force told the judge that they have credible information about suspects' involvement in target killing, extortion and offences that comes within the ambit of Anti-Terrorism Act. According to Rangers, the suspects were arrested during targeted operations in different parts of the city.
The judge ordered the formation of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) within 15 days to probe the detainees.
The Rangers will keep the suspects for the period of 90 days considering legal provision 11 EEEEE (1) of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997. The productions of the suspects along with other documents were made in compliance with 11 EEEEE (3) of ATA for the information and record of the court.
