Baroness Sayeeda Warsi decries Peshawar attacks

LONDON Sept 23 (Online): British Minister of State and Minister for Foreign & Commonwealth Office Affairs, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, condemned the bombings at a Christian church in Peshawar, which killed and injured so many innocent people.
"These cowardly attacks are especially sickening as they targeted people leaving their place of worship," Warsi said in a statement issued here.
"I offer my deepest condolences to the families that have lost loved ones and to those injured in the attacks. The United Kingdom will continue to support and work with Pakistan in their fight against terror and violent extremism," Warsi added.
Furthermore condemning the attacks in the strongest of words, British government also reaffirmed support and commitment to work with the Pakistani government in confronting terrorism and extreme radicalism.
The church attacks have reportedly killed at least 81 people and injured 145 others.
