Lahore, September 21 (Online): In two different incidents, newly born baby girls were thrown away by their so called parents.
The first incident took place near Reevaz Garden of Lahore, the capital city of eastern province of Punjab. The baby was found wrapped inside plastic bag making it difficult for her to breathe.
The baby was immediately shifted to Mew Hospital’s emergency department for the medical treatment.
Doctors say that she has been suffering from worst breathing problem after being wrapped in bag for quite a while.
The second incident was reported at Nishtar Colony where the similar case was found by the rescue workers. The baby was also shifted to the hospital for the medical treatment.
The experts say that either the babies are unwanted or they are thrown away only for being girls.
Poverty could be another reason of these kinds of heartless incidents, experts say.
