Terrorism fears at Cadet Colleges

JAFFARABAD jan 18 (PPI): Administration has made contacts with senior civil and military leadership for security arrangements at the cadet colleges in Balochistan for fear of terrorism. Decision has been take for deployment of Balochistan Constabulary platoons at all the cadet colleges on emergency basis.
This was stated by Project director Cadet Colleges Imtiaz Buzdar while speaking to Newsmen during his visit to Cadet College Jaffarabad.
He said that there are no security arrangements at the cadet colleges in the province. Seven security guards have been provided with one pistol only for the security of 280 cadets at cadet college Pishin. Cadet College Killa Saifullah is situation in sensitive mountainous area. It is considered as hub of terrorists.
In view of security fears Secretary Colleges has established contacts with Commander Southern Command and Ministry of Home for providing foolproof security for the cadet colleges. In its positive response Government of Balochistan has decided to deploy platoons of Balochistan Constabulary at the cadet colleges. College managements have called Rupees six million funds from the Centre for building boundary walls and installation of CCTV cameras at the cadet college sin sensitive areas.
