Printing of five million academic books completed

QUETTA: Balochistan Text Book Board (BTBB) has completed the task of printing of some 5 million academic books in the province.
This was informed by the Chairman of the BTBB, Abdul Qayum Babai while talking to the media here on Friday.
He maintained that the books have been got printed for the kachi (nursery) to 10th class of worth around Rs. 350 million, and duly handed over to the Director Education for further dispatch.
Mr. Babai also informed that after printing of the academic books, the process of their dispatch has also been started in the districts from the concerned Directorate.
He said that as the provincial government is committed to impart basic education to the children in their respective mother languages, the basic academic books have also been printed in Pashto, Balochi, Brahvi and Sindhi languages while work is in progress on printing of the books in Punjabi and Persian languages.
He hoped that the academic books would be made available for the students in the government schools within the period of winter vacations so that they (students) may not face any issue.
