Old enmity claims four lives in central Punjab

Nankana Sahib, September 19 (Online): At least four people were shot dead while one got injured in Tehsil Court of Sangla Hill, a tehsil in the Nankana Sahib District of the Punjab on Thursday over old enmity, officials said.

According to police four people identified Asif, Irfan, Hasnain, Asad Mahmood and Mazhar were proceeding to Sangla Hill to attend court proceedings.

Their rival Dogar group opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result, Asif, Irfan, Hasnain, Asad Mahmood died on the spot while Mazhar received serious bullet wounds and were shifted to THQ hospital.

According to the police, rivalry has been going on between deceased group and Dogar group.

The miscreants succeed to flee from scene after firing, police kicked off investigations.

The attack created panic in the court and security was tightened after the incident.
