Health Department plans to launch school-level immunization

QUETTA: The Balochistan Health department has planned to launch vaccination programme at the school level all over the province.
This was informed by the Provincial Minister for Health, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch while addressing a awareness workshop about different diseases including HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis and others, here in Quetta.
The Members of Provincial Assembly, Dr. Shama Ishaq Baloch and Ms. Yasmeen Lehri and other concerned high ups also attended the workshop.
Mir Rehmat Baloch maintained that we also have a plan to launch free of cost stunt of life programme for some 500 patients in the province.
He also mentioned that wholehearted steps are being mobilized for making the health department effective and the employees more efficient.
He said that we would play our due role for establishing a healthy Balochistan making utmost endeavors in this regard.
The Minister on the occasion also mentioned that the present government has taken revolutionary steps in the health sector. However, it is also responsibility of the doctors and other health staff to make their sincere contribution in this regard, adding he stressed.
Referring the use of contaminated syringes, Rehmat Baloch said that it is harmful for the human health. The use of infected syringes causes different deadly diseases, so it must be prohibited to save life of the people, he stressed.
He underlined the need to create awareness about reuse of contaminated syringes.
