Governor for expediting pace of work on cadet colleges project

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai has underlined the need to expedite pace of work on under construction cadet colleges in the province as delay in their completion within stipulated time would create new issues.
He was talking to the Advisor to Chief Minister on Education, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech here the other day.
Also present on the occasion were the Secretary Higher Education, Ghulam Muhammad Sabir, Principal Secretary to Governor, Abdul Jabbar and Project Director of Balochistan cadet colleges, Imtiaz Buzdar.
Different issues pertaining to construction and financial ones of the cadet colleges of Mastung, Chaman, Panjgur, Kohlu, Pishin, Noshki and Killa Saifullah were reviewed during the meeting.
The matters of timely release of the funds for cadet colleges as well as their completion without any delay also came up for threadbare discussion.
The Governor on the occasion directed to keep a strict vigil on use of quality construction material in the project besides expending the pace of work on it.
He also stressed on the provincial government to ensure provision of funds for all the under construction cadet colleges so that it is possible for them to provide necessary facilities to the students as per their full strength.
