JI Balochistan delegation led by Akhunzada calls on President

QUETTA: A representative delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami (JI) Balochistan called on the President, Mamnoon Hussain here in Quetta.
The delegation was led by the JI’s Provincial Ameer, Abdul Mateen Akhunzada. The delegation comprised: Provincial Naib Ameer JI, Sheikhul Qura’an Maulana Aminullah Kakar, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Provincial President of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Mir Muhammad Asim Sanjrani, Syed Amanullah Shadenzai, Zahid Akhtar Baloch, Abdul Wali Khan Shakir, Abdul Rahim Nasser and Muhammad Asif Kakar.
The situation of the country as well as Balochistan came up for discussion during the meeting.
The Provincial Ameer of JI diverted the attention of President towards the issues of poverty, backwardness and helplessness facing the people of the province despite its rich resources in different sectors.
Despite the province is blessed with the reservoirs of coal, gold, copper, gas chromite and other, due attention is not being given to it, he regretfully pointed out. This is the reason behind sense of deprivation and neglect prevailing among people of the province, he maintained.
The President paid a patient hearing to the issues raised during the meeting and said that the province would surely be given due importance.
The projects of Kashghar to Gawadar as well as from Gawadar to Karachi highways would help usher in an era of development and prosperity in the province, he said.
The projects being executed in the electricity and gas sectors and development dams would also help progress the province in future.
Special care of the province was done in the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award, the President mentioned further.
He on the occasion said that the terrorism and cruelty would not be tolerated at all.
