Punjab Govt inks 6 agreements‚ MoUs with Turkish investors

LAHORE Sept 19 (Online): Punjab government has signed six agreements and Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with Turkish investors in Ankara and Istanbul.

The agreements were signed during meetings between Turkish investors and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Under the agreements Turkey will extend cooperation to Punjab on various sectors including transport‚ solid waste management energy and anti-terrorism project for generating sixteen megawatt energy through wind mill will also be installed.

Speaking on the occasion‚ Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said a joint strategy would be evolved for speedy implementation of the agreements.
