SUI Nov 22 (PPI): Policies of present democratic government are maintenance of law and order and provision basic facilities of education and health while special attention was being paid on other sectors of economic development which can bring prosperity in the province.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while addressing second Parents Day ceremony at Military College Sui Saturday.
Provincial Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua, IG FC Muhammad Ejaz Shahid, Chief Secretary Saifullah Chatha, Senior Civil and military officers tribal elders and parents in large number attended.
Chief Minister said it is satisfying that during short span of three years of its establishment Military College has become a reputed institution which has not only an important place in educational institutions of Balochistan but other noted institutions were also viewing its successes. He said this college has provided platform for our youth to stand by the side of students of noted educational institutions fo the country and this is no less than a blessings for this remote and backward area like Sui. He said we are desirous that other educational institutions should be able to enable our children to win laurels at the national and international levels along with this college.
Referring to educational period of his life Chief Minister said that he went to schoolboy covering distance of six miles on foot and had lessons on sitting on tarpaulin. It is our good luck now we have military College in backward area like Dera Bugti. It is great facility for our children from our Military leadership and Pak Army was cooperating for its further development. He said there is need we should make Balochistan cradle of peace and play our positive role for bright future of our coming generations.
He aid due to hard works of teachers of Sui Military College cadets have reached to Pakistan Military Academy Kakul and other higher educational institutions.
He announced building new block at a cost of Rupees 168 million.

Chief Minister was presented Salute upon arrival at College by cadets. He also inspected parade.
