SIBI Nov 11 (PPI): Six persons including woman and children were killed and another six were injured in firing incident near Sibi Tuesday.
According to details Meraj Ahmed was going to Quetta in his car along with his family from Dera Murad Jamali today. When they reached near Mithri about 35 Km from Sibi armed men riding a 2-D car sprayed bullets on their car indiscriminately. As a result Mudassar and Sehr Baz died on the spot.
Meraj Ahmed, his wife Shamshad, Moeena, Wajeeha, Rakhshanda Bibi, Muzammil Ahmed, Sadia Bibi, Ahmed Raza, Humera Kulsoom were injured. They were shifted to civil hsoptial Sibi by Edhi, Sangat and Saiban Welfare Trust ambulances. Meraj and his three daughters died of their wounds at the hospital. Some seriously injured were referred to Quetta.
An emergency was declared at civil hospital Sibi and injured were provided medical aid.
Levies started investigation into the firing incident. Armed men ran away after firing.
Meanwhile Chief of Rind tribes Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind while condemning killing of six persons in firing incident near Mithri said those involved in firing should be arrested immediately and brought to net of law. He expressed grief over the loss of precious lives.
Amir Jamatud Dawa Mufti Hafiz Muhammad Qasim while expressing deep grief over the loss of innocent lives in explosion at Zarghoon road here today he strongly condemned it. He said such incidents are big dangers to security of our country. Anti state elements were at work in such terrorist activities to destroyed law and order situation. Targeting security forces time and again is matter of grave concern. He said possibility of involvement of India in terrorist activities cannot be ruled out.
He asked the government to hold impartial inquiry into the incident and apprise the nation of the facts.
