PANJGUR Sep 3 (PPI): Transporters, travelers and notable strongly protested over loot of passenger vehicles along Gachak-Panjgur road. Administration should provide security or we have right to our security, they warned.
The warning was hurled at a Press conference by notables of the area here Wednesday. They included Malvi Abdul Razzaq, Mir Alam Khan, Mir Dil Wash Baloch and others.
They said passenger vehicles plying between Panjgur and Gachak daily are looted by dacoits. This has become a routine. Dacoits snatch cash, mobile phone and costly items from the travelers. Animals being carried from Gachak to Panjgur are also removed from vehicles. Now women travelers are being harassed.
They said distance of Gachak from Panjgur is 120 kilometres. There is no levies nor Levies post and people of the area are faced with insecurity.
They demanded of Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Balch, provincial minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Commissioner Mekran Davison, Acting Deputy Commissioner Panjgur to provide security to passenger vehicles or allow us to take measures for our security by our own.
