Met office predicts rainy spell from weekend

QUETTA Mar 21 (PPI): Two spells of spring rains are expected in the current month. This was predicted by Meteorological in its advisory.
Met-Office informed that current spring season would be cold and wet in most parts of the country except Sindh. Spring rains predicted from coming weekend and two good spells of rains are expected in the country in the current month (Next 10 days).
Met-Office reported that a weather system, presently located over Iran, is heading towards Pakistan and likely to grip western parts of the country in next 48 hrs producing scattered rain/thunderstorm in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa (KP) on Friday evening/night and onward. Under the sway of this weather system, good rain with thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad, North Balochistan, KP, Upper Punjab, and GB-Kashmir on Sunday/Monday.
A secondary weather system is expected to develop over southern Iran and adjoining areas of Balochistan on Tuesday. This secondary weather system may produce widespread rains with isolated heavy falls in the country from mid of coming week.
Spring rains may be accompanied by windstorm/hailstorms at isolated places of Islamabad, North Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha Divisions) and upper parts of Khyber Pashtoonkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan Divisions) during the period.
