Ex-Ist class cricketer, NBP captain Kabir dies

KARACHI, Sep. 16 (APP)- Former first class cricketer and ex-NBP
Captain Kabir Hussain died on Monday after protracted illness. He was
69 and was laid to rest at Sabzi Mandi Graveyard.
Kabir Hussain, led NBP in to win the Kardar Summer Cup and
Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Tournament in 1966.
His funeral was attended amongst others by former Test left
arm spinner and NBP Sports and CRS Chief, Iqbal Qasim, former
international Asif Ahmed, Saeed Azad and other officials of bank's
sports department
Quran Khawani and Soyem for the departed soul will be held
at Jamia Masjid, Al-Safa Block-1, Sharifabad (Behind Al-Azam Square) on
Wednesday between Asar and Maghrib prayers.
The members of PCB Ad-hoc Committee Gulfraz Khan and Badar
Jafri have expressed their condolnaces on the demise of Kabir Hussain.
