The law-enforcers arrived at the site and called Bomb Disposal Squad to check the packet. The BDS officials said it was a locally-made bomb with ball bearings weighing around two kg.

Two hours later, another information about a suspicious bag prompted policemen and BDS to rush to SITE area where the bag was found lying outside the office of local traders association.

Meanwhile, Rangers personnel on receiving secret information raided houses and hideouts of the suspected criminals in Orangi Town’s Farid Colony area.

The operation comprised of nearly three hundred Rangers personnel including female members and trained commandos of the Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS).
