PFUJ delegation meets governor

QUETTA Feb 21 (PPI): Journalism is a sacred profession. Organisations associated with Journalism should play role it can help resolve several problems.
This was stated by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai at his meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) which called on him under the leadership of Khursheed Abbasi Secretary General here Friday.
President Quetta Press Club Razaur Rehman, senior Journalist Shamsur Rehman, Secretary General BUJ Irshad mastoid and others were also present.
Welcoming journalists from various parts of the country Governor said that journalism is a noble profession and if organizations associated with it play their role it can help resolve several problems. He said such visits help indicate problems of journalists and resolving problems of people of Balochistan.
He said being representative of Federation he would strive for resolving problems and difficulties confronting to journalists. He said he would take action for Journalists colony and 7 th Wage Board on the written application of BUJ.
Paying tributes to Syed Faseih Iqbal Chief Editor Zamana Group Governor Achakzai said that through his pen he raised voice for rights of people and journalists. Fateha was also offered for departed soul of Syed Faseih Iqbal.
