QUETTA Jan 28 (PPI): Opposition in Balochistan assembly ended its boycott of House and returned to House here Tuesday.
When the House reassembled here today Members asked Speaker that House is incomplete without Opposition. A committee should be deputed to console Opposition and bring it to the House. Speaker asked Prince Ahmed Ali (PML-N), Manzoor Ahmed Kakar (PMAP), Adviser on Finance Khalid Lango, Tahir Mahmood and Deputy Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo to hold talks with Opposition leader Maulana Abdul Wasay and making efforts to bring them back to the House.
Team met with Maulana Wasay at Opposition chamber and assured them that all their genuine demands would be met.
Opposition ended the boycott and returned to the House. Members welcomed them by thumping their desks.
Prince Ahmed Ali told Speaker that government team held talks with Opposition. Their reservations were justified. Following democratic norms it ended their boycott and returned to the House. He said Opposition boycott was not for funds but for distribution of funds by unelected people and ignoring elected members of the House for it. He said we would hold talks with our parliamentary leaders within one week and resolve Opposition’s apprehensions.
