Eid Milad-un-Nabi to be celebrated with religious fervor today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (Online): Eid Milad-un-Nabi would be observed all over the country with religious fervour and respect on Tuesday (today).
Milad-un-Nabi processions would be held in all big and small cities of the country including towns and villages, in this connection government has announced Tuesday as a public holiday.
Milad-un-Nabi processions would be held in different cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Karachi, Quetta, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, and building and mosque would be illuminated.
Strict Security measures would be taken on the routes and places of processions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and all educational institutions and government offices would remain closed. Punjab government has directed to all District and Tehsil administration officers to take unprecedented security measures.
Meanwhile the preparations have been made for the celebration of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi with religious fervour and respect in twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Large banner and gigantic billboards have been displayed across the cities to celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Mosques, homes and plazas have been decorated with colorful lights and buntings.
In Islamabad, the main procession would start from Police Ground G/7. Incase of rain the procession would emerge from Mosque Jamia Al-Raza, Markaz G/7.Before the procession a Eid Milad-un-Nabi conference would be held.
Islamabad Police have chalked out an elaborate security plan for main procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal and 2200 cops will perform security duties.
Strict patrolling of police will be ensured during procession and other religious gatherings in the city.
