I can’t work with PML-N led govt: Ex-NADRA chief

ISLAMABAD, Jan 13 (Online): Former Chairman, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Tariq Malik on Monday said that his decision to resign is final.
“My decision of resignation is final and I cannot work with the incumbent PML-N led government”, Tariq Malik said while talking to media.
Commenting on Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision by declaring appointment of Tariq Malik as Chairman NADRA legitimate, he said the court’s verdict has proved that my point of view was true adding he said, “I am satisfied now and cannot compromise on principles”.
The former NADRA Chairman said he worked for upgradation of the institution and remained successful in this regard.
Therefore, he added, “I resigned in the best interest of the institution and will not take back my resignation”.
Tariq Malik said government officers should not be treated as personal servants.
