Imran Khan announces countrywide protest against inflation on Dec 22

Lahore, Dec. 14 (Online): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Saturday announced that his party will hold a protest rally against inflation on December 22 countrywide.
The PTI chief made an announcement during addressing media in Lahore.
Addressing a press conference here, Khan criticized the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government, adding it was responsible for increasing inflation.
While criticizing the PML-N government, the PTI chairman said "Separate laws for rich and poor is a great injustice".
"PTI will show another tsunami on Dec 22 and it is inviting other parties to join the protest against inflation", he added.
Khan said Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed and Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami would also participated in countrywide protest.
He said the worst rigging was made during May general elections added that the government has itself admitted that 60 to 70 percent vote could not be confirmed.
Khan wanted vote confirmation in Lahore’s four constituencies added he would move apex court in this regard.
Khan said he would going before the Supreme Court on Monday to file petition.
PTI chief feared that Punjab government would make rigging in local bodies polls in the province.
He gave good news to KP people saying that his party government in the province would introduce biometric system for local bodies elections.
