Pakistan to provide security to Mullah Bradar: FAtmi

ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (Online): Special Assistant to Prime Minister for foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatmi has said that Pakistan has released Mullah Bradar, though Pakistan would provide security to him until he is in Pakistan.

Talking to journalists after a ceremony held here on Wednesday he said, “Pakistan ready to provide all-out assistance in Afghan reconciliation process”.

Tariq Fatmi said that Mullah Bradar is a part of Taliban and we released him on request of Afghanistan but he would not be handed over to anyone, PM Assistant said.

“Mullah Bradar is free and he can move freely, we are providing security to him,” he added.

Special assistant to PM disclosed that economic progress and revival of economy are amongst top priorities of the government.

Talking about terrorism, Fatmi said that government enthusiastic to fight terrorism but no country could fight this menace lonely, he added.

“All countries, religions and races should have to join hands in order to cope with terrorism”, he suggested.

Assistant to PM thanked international community over helping Pakistan in war on terror, he reminded that Pakistan has suffered the most in war against terror.
