DUBAI, Oct 26 (Online): South Africa on Saturday defeated Pakistan by an innings and 92 runs during the final session on penultimate day of the second and final Test here at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The South Africa completed the victory when young Asad Shafiq’s long battle ended some nine overs before the stumps.
Asad was stumped by AB de Villiers off jean-Paul Duminy after top scoring with 130. He hit fifteen boundaries and a six during his 320-ball innings.
Scores: Pakistan 99 and 326 (Asad Shafiq 130, Misbah-ul-Haq 88; JP Duminy 3-67 Imran Tahir 3-98) v South Africa 517 Series drawn 1-1.
