QUETTA Oct 14 (PPI): People are receiving relief goods in earthquake hit areas in Awaran. So far 700/800 truck loads of relief goods have been sent to the area. I was personally monitoring relief activities. Affected people are being provided ration for three months.
This was stated by Balochistan chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while speaking to Newsmen at Governor House here Monday after oath taking ceremony of eleven new ministers.
He said cabinet meeting has been called on Oct 22. It would have a wide range of agenda. After cabinet meeting it would be looked to call Donors conference.
Answering a question he said he did not had any contact with militant leader Dr Allah Nazar.
Replying to another question Chief Minister said after formation of cabinet improvement would be seen at several places. He however added first three months of his government and the same of the previous government should be compared. There will be great difference in target killings, abduction for ransom and other crimes.
He asked Media to make reckless criticism of his government. We would take this criticism to a positive conclusion.
He said of course no woman minister has been inducted in the cabinet. He said it is decision of coalition partners. We would see this later.
He said he had earlier stated there was no problem for cabinet formation but it was delayed. He hoped they would serve the province in good sense. He said parliamentary board of three coalition partners have accorded approval of the names of ministers. He cannot nominate names of ministers of other parties. However he expected they would do justice.
Replying to a question he said London visit was not a mission. It was rather Faiz Mission where he enjoyed our stay.
Answering another question he said due to APCA strike no hindrance ahs been caused. Cabinet will meet on 22 nd. Decision will be taken there if necessary.
