Pakistan unassailable: PM

RISALPUR Oct 10 (Online): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that Pakistan is a peace-loving country and it would continue to take steps for peace.
Addressing the 89th passing out parade ceremony of the Pakistan Air Force's GD pilot course at its academy in Risalpur, premier Sharif, who was the event's chief guest, declared Pakistan as a peace-loving country.
Talking about the possibility of war at the country's borders the prime minister said that Pakistan would continue to play its role in defusing tensions.
He further said that the Pakistan Air Force was the guarantor of the country's stability and added that the PAF graduates would have to perform for the defense of the country.
Sharif also said that the country's enemies would have to be made to realise that Pakistan was unassailable.
He said that the PAF is fully equipped to safeguard territorial integrity of the motherland.
The Prime Minister urged the cadets to follow footsteps of the gallantry officers of Pakistan Air Force.
Pakistan Air Force is a capable and professional force and I am fully convinced that PAF would prove its mettle in safeguarding the territorial integrity of our country, he said.
During the occasion, which was highlighted by a fly-past and a free-fall display, the prime minister also distributed trophies to the outstanding performers of the graduating batch of the GD pilot course.
Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt and other high-ranking officials of the Air Force also attended the passing out ceremony.
